Make your own research part of the #VMSD24 programme and submit an abstract by 12 January 2024!
The next edition of the VLIZ Marine Science Day will be a very special one, as #VMSD24 formally frames the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. This unique edition of the VLIZ Marine Science Day will take place at De Grote Post in Ostend on Wednesday 6 March 2024.
More than ever, the organisers aim for a balanced variety of key-notes and other lectures, demos and plenty of opportunity for interaction between participants. The programme will guide you through a variety of inspiring marine sciences, built around the EU mission "Restore our ocean and waters by 2030". In doing so, the EU Mission Ocean & Waters puts forward three main targets: ocean pollution, climate/carbon, and biodiversity.
