Entries for the 5th edition of the European Seagull Screaming Championship at café ‘De Verloren Gernoare’ in Adinkerke are officially open. You can participate as a European citizen in 3 categories: individual, juniors (min 16) or as a colony (group). The goal after 5 editions is still the same: to create a positive image for our seagulls on the coast. And it is succeeding quite well. Because throughout the year, the European Gull Shouting Championship attracts the attention of supporters from all over the world.
The European Gull Scream Championship is organised by comedian Claude Willaert, with the support of the Flanders Marine Institute (VLIZ), the Institute for Nature and Forest Research (INBO), the Wildlife Rescue Centre Ostend (VOC Oostende), and nature working group De Kerkuil.
