Abstract
A list of fifteen species of terrestrial isopods from Fars Province, south of Iran, including their distribution data, is provided. According to our results, Agnaridae is the most species-rich family among the Oniscidea of the studied area. Five species are recorded for the first time from Fars Province. A new species, Protracheoniscus flavescens n. sp. is described. The distribution of the new species, which possesses some troglomorphic characters, is restricted to the cave in which it was found. A description of the new species is presented, and its diagnostic characters are illustrated.
