Abstract
    We describe Volutomitra carlosbranai n. sp., V. francescae n. sp., V. andreiae n. sp., V. rosadoi n. sp., V. filippoi n. sp. and Conomitra boyeri n. sp. We transfer Mitra (Pusia) blanfordi MELVILL & STANDEN, 1901 and Mitra (Pusia) geoffreyana MELVILL, 1910 from Costellariidae to Volutomitridae based on conchological characteristics.
