Abstract
The morphology of previtellogenic oocytes of 5 species of Cyprinidae, living in cold (4 degree C) and warm water (25 degree C), and of Salmonidae, the rainbow trout (2-15 degree C), were investigated. Cyprinus carpio, Hemiculter leucisculus, Rhodeus ocellatus, Pseudorasbora parva, Hypophthalmichthys molitrix and Oncorhynchus mykiss were the objects of observation. Intensively coloured patches (structures) were discovered in cytoplasm of previtellogenic oocytes of cyprinid fishes from cold water. Cytoplasm of oocytes of fishes from warm water were coloured homogeneously. Analogous structures were observed in trout oocytes at different temperatures.
