Abstract
An integrated ecological monitoring is implemented as part of a multidisciplinary approach based on the use of low-impacting monitoring techniques for the ecological mapping of an artificial reef located in the central Adriatic Sea. The aim was to identify ecosystem functions and services the area could provide and lay down the basis for improving management measures to assure its sustainable exploitation according to the principles of the blue bioeconomy.
