Abstract |
Although the North Sea is considered to be a tectonically stable area, earthquakes, with epicentres located offshore, have been recorded by seismological stations in the surrounding onshore areas. It is the objective of this paper to analyse the possible relation between the tectonics of the North Sea and its present level of seismic activity. |
