| Abstract |
On February 4, 1999 a white-sided dolphin Lagenorhynchus acutus (Gray, 1828) was washed ashore on tbe beach of Knokke. As the specimen was alive, it was carefully transported to the dolphinarium of Harderwijk. There it died on February. This is the first record of a white-sided dolphin from the Belgian coast. |
