Abstract
Red sea bream eggs were imported from Japan and stocked in May 1968 into larval rearing facilities of the Cenmar hatchery. The mean survival from hatched egg to fry of 23mm in length was 15%. A total of 30000 fry was produced and transferred to the ongrowing facility in floating cages. Growth and survival data for the fish during the first year of culture are presented.
