Abstract
Artemia can be cultured in axenic conditions, which allows to test live feed. Isogenic yeast mutant that harbor mutations for genes involved in cell wall synthesis, will be tested as feed. These feeds differ not only in nutritional value, but probably also in immunostimulating characteristics , as those mutations influence the beta-glucan content of the cell wall.
