The Centre for Surface Chemistry and Catalysis constitutes a large interdisciplinary team involved in teaching and research in the chemistry of the solid-gas, solid-liquid, and solid-solid interphases.
The marine aspect of the conducted research focuses on membranes for the harvest of microalgae (in collaboration with the laboratory Aquatic Biology (KU Leuven)), as well as on the treatment of waste water. |
