Description:At the THESEUS final conference in Brussels, policymakers will become familiar with the THESEUS-DSS (Decision Support System) which allows them to rapidly assess the efficiency of socially, economically, ecologically and engineering based mitigation solutions on different coastal hazard scenarios. Moreover they will participate in small working groups to discuss burning issues on coastal protection, the results of which will be bundled in a concept paper to be submitted to the European Commission.
The final conference is organised by the University of Bologna (Italy) in cooperation with the Flanders Marine Institute (VLIZ). Venue is the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences, Rue Vautier 29, 1000 Brussels. |
