Abstract
    Three new macrodasyoid gastrotrichs, Turbanella reducta sp.n., Turbanella thiophila sp.n. and Thiodasys sterreri gen. et sp.n. are described and their systematic position discussed. The spp come from the biotic community of sulphide rich marine sand and show adaptations to life in the thiobios.
