Abstract
The present paper gives a brief overview of the CLASH project, making reference to other relevant papers in this issue and elsewhere. Emphasis is put on the two main objectives of the project and how these objectives were realised: development of a generic prediction method for wave overtopping and guidance on possible scale/model effects for wave overtopping.
