Abstract
Thais lacera is recorded and described from Ibiza. The shell was live trawled by Spanish fishermen in 1960, which means some decades before most of the other reports from the eastern Mediterranean Sea. As a result of our investigations we conclude that this Indo-Western Pacific species can be found throughout the whole Mediterranean Sea.
