Abstract
    The application of diagnostic-prognostic models to the mathematical visualisation of the general circulation and associated (current, buoyancy, nutrient, plankton,…) fields, - primarily apprehended from historical or newly acquired data -, is discussed and illustrated with results of simulation with the GHER model.
