Due to the covid-19 pandemic, the 2020 anniversary edition of the VMSD had to be cancelled. As it is hard to predict how the situation will be in March 2021, we have opted to organise an online, special VLIZ Marine Science Day on Wednesday 3 March 2021.
We revamped the program substantially, and go for a spicy and concise program of presentations, interaction and surprise elements. An ideal opportunity that will guide you in a nutshell through a variety of inspiring marine science and fascination.
There will be two main opportunities for each of you to actively present your work: a five minute online presentation, or a digital ‘poster’ presentation. The latter will allow you to prepare and showcase your research in a 1 minute video, made available on the website. Application is done by submitting your abstract, following the instructions below.
Please note that no abstracts will be copied from last year’s cancelled edition. You need to resubmit.
