Besides a visit to VLIZ, a boat trip in and out of the harbor was planned to see the 'Blue Accelerator' test platform, and a lunch with prominent players in the blue economy. In the afternoon, Minister Van Quickenborne went to Brussels to explain the new legislative framework for autonomous vessels during a webinar on autonomous shipping. In this regard the cabinet of the minister communicated an official press release (in Dutch).
