Description
The objective of the MMERMAID project is to monitor occupancy patterns and fine-scale movements of fish species around an offshore wind farm structure. Acoustic receiver array is deployed around the structure in a French Offshore Wind Farm located in the eastern Channel. Monitored species include various elasmobranch and pelagic species Scope Themes: Biology, Biology > Acoustics, Biology > Ecology - biodiversity, Biology > Fish, Fisheries > Fish stocks/catches/taggings Keywords: Marine/Coastal, Acoustic arrays, Acoustic data, Acoustic detection, Acoustic devices, Acoustic receivers, Acoustic Tags, Acoustic Telemetry, Acoustic tracking, Animal tracking, Fish movement, Fish tracking, Live fish movement, Movement ecology, Network Project, Offshore platforms, Tracking data, Wind farms, French part of the English Channel, Dicentrarchus labrax (Linnaeus, 1758), Mustelus asterias Cloquet, 1821, Pisces, Raja clavata Linnaeus, 1758, Raja undulata Lacepède, 1802, Scyliorhinus canicula (Linnaeus, 1758), Scyliorhinus stellaris (Linnaeus, 1758) Geographical coverage French part of the English Channel [Marine Regions] Temporal coverage
