Description
8 harbour seals (Phoca vitulina) were captured in the Baie du Montt-Saint-Michel (France) between January 2006 and October 2007 and fitted with Fastloc GPS/GSM tags (Sea Mammal Research Unit - SMRU, UK). The project was funded by the DIREN Basse Normandie. The study was conducted by Cecile Vincent at the University of La Rochelle (France) in collaboration with SMRU, Aero’Baie, PELAGIS (CNRS/La Rochelle University), the Office national de la chasse de la faune sauvage (ONCFS), the Zoo de La Fleche and the Zoo La Bourbansais.
