Description
This dataset contains carbon isotope values of essential amino acids measured from white muscle tissue of coral reef fish predator and consumer species. These reef fish were sampled across inner lagoonal and outer reef slope habitats of North Male Atoll, Maldives. The five essential amino acids measured are Leucine, Lysine, Phenylalanine, Threonine, and Valine. more
Samples were collected between January and March 2017 and during December 2018. Scope Themes: Biology > Fish Keywords: Marine/Coastal, Connectivity, Coral reefs, Essential amino acids, Fishery target, Food webs, Leucine, Lysine, Phenylalanine, Stable isotopes, Threonine, Valine, White muscle tissue, ISW, Maldive I., ISW, Maldive I., North Malé Atoll, Acanthurus leucosternon Bennett, 1833, Aethaloperca rogaa (Forsskål, 1775), Anyperodon leucogrammicus (Valenciennes, 1828), Caesio varilineata Carpenter, 1987, Caesio xanthonota Bleeker, 1853, Cephalopholis argus Schneider, 1801, Cephalopholis miniata (Forsskål, 1775), Chaetodon meyeri Bloch & Schneider, 1801, Ctenochaetus striatus (Quoy & Gaimard, 1825), Decapterus macarellus (Cuvier, 1833), Myripristis violacea Bleeker, 1851, Uroteuthis duvaucelii (A. d'Orbigny, 1835) Temporal coverage
