Description
Suspended sediment concentration in mg/l in surface water in the Seine estuary. Data collected by the Water Agency Seine-Normandy for the Seine estuary water quality monitoring between 1955 and 2017. more
Measurement for a total of 23 locations. Data gap in 1989. Frequency of the measurements is a few times per year. Samples were taken near the water surface with a pump or by hand with a bottle and then filtered. Current monitoring is sub‐surface using a pump from a boat for the downstream stations (Rouen to Honfleur) and directly in the bottle from the river side or from bridges for the upstream stations (Poses to Rouen). It is assumed that this method was the same during the 1955-2017 period.
