The dataset includes information about spatial distribution and abundance of herring larvae in the North Sea based on the data from the MIK Herring Larvae Survey more
The survey is also called for the "Midwater ring net survey". Survey‘s target species are herring and sprat in the North Sea. The survey is conducted annually together with the IBTS q1 survey. The group responsible for the survey design is IBTSWG.
