The present database is intended to serve as a catalogue for photo-identification of bottlenose dolphins in the Bulgarian Black Sea area. It is part of a larger study of cetaceans in the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) of Bulgaria and in NATURA 2000 protected areas where the species is subject to conservation.
