Abstract
A species, collected off Sal Island (Cape Verde Archipelago), is described as new: Euthria amorimi sp. nov. The new species is compared with E. calypso Von Cosel & Burnay, 1983, E. insalubris Fraussen & Rolán, 2003 and E. abrotoma Fraussen & Rolán, 2003. E. calypso Von Cosel & Burnay, 1983, before known from between Boavista and Maio Island (type locality), is now recorded from off Sal Island (sympatric with the new species) and discussed in detail.
