Abstract
    Recently, Trigonostoma damasoi (Cossignani, 2015) was described as a new species from Angola. Comparison with specimens of T. gofasi of the same type locality resulted in the decision that both refer to the same species. So, T. damasoi has to be regarded as a junior synonym of T. gofasi Verhecken, 2007.
