Abstract
The collection of Sphaeroma serratum natural populations along the part of Briton coast between Cancale and Saint-Brieuc enables to complete the map of distribution of major genes responsible for this Isopoda polychromatism along the Channel and Atlantic coasts. 30 representative samples, including 40,046 individuals, were collected on this part of coast about 130 km long. Though the analysis of results corroborates the genetic complexity of Briton populations, it does not show any significative correlations in the distribution of frequencies in lunulatum distinctly more numerous than any where else, and in ornatum, on the one hand, and in signatum and "red", on the other hand.
