Abstract
    Two Microchirus azevia populations from the Algerian coast are compared by electrophoresis. Among the 18 loci encoding enzymes, 7 display a polymorphism. The allelic frequencies at the Aat-4 locus are significantly different which suggests that the two populations are relatively isolated.
