Abstract
The first record of Buskia nitens Alder from the Netherlands is from the Oosterschelde near Wemeldinge, where the species was collected in 1966.Electra monostachys (Busk), found SW of the isle of Terschelling in 1966 and W of the Island Schouwen in 1967, is probably also recorded for the first time from coastal waters of the Netherlands.Specimens of Conopeum seurati (Canu) were found to occur at many brackish-water localities in the Netherlands. This species has frequently been found there on previous occasions, but is has always been recorded under incorrect names, as re-examination of specimess in the collection of the Rijksmuseum van Natuurlijke Historie, Leiden, revealed.
