Abstract
Three species of polychaetes Magelona falcifera, Polyophthalmus zhadanae, and were recorded for the first time from the Indian coast. The species were collected from the intertidal to 5 km distance from the coastline of Palk Bay, Bay of Bengal. The diagnostic features and distributional records of the new recorded species are provided, with an updated checklist of polychaete species from Palk Bay.
