| Abstract |
In 1940 professor A. S. JENSEN published a list of rare and "new"fishes collected in Danish waters from 1917-1937, and it is the purposeof the present paper to attempt a revision of his survey. Some of thespecies mentioned by JENSEN have not been included here as, today,they are much more frequently seen around Denmark than formerly.A common feature of the present species is that they are all characterizedby BRUUN and PFAFF ( 1950) as being "very rare". In the present paperthe number of finds of the species in question will be stated wheneverpossible. |
