| Abstract |
The paper gives an account of the Orbitolines found in the limestone intercalations associated with volcanic rocks of Dras, Jammu and Kashmir state. One new genus, with characters intermediate between Orbitolina d'Orbigny and Iragia Henson along with three species of Orbilolina and ?Birbalina are recorded. The Foraminifera indicate a Barremian to Aptian age for the limestone intercalations and associated volcanic rocks. |
