Abstract
    The forgotten taxon Acanthinula spinifera (MOUSSON) for the Canarianrepresentative of the genus is redescribed and characterized in comparison with A. aculeata by its shell morphology, especially by smaller size and different spiral sculpture of embryonic whorls.
