Abstract
The Danian species Angarina spinosa Briart & Cornet, 1887 is interpreted again and a new figuration is given based on recently collected material. The species is attributed to a new genus Astrangaria, family Angariidae Thiele, 1921 (Gastropoda, Vetigastropoda). The identification of morphological features enables separation of this new genus within Angariidae. The new name of replacement Guildfordia ostarrichi nom. nov. is introduced to correct primary homonym Delphinula spinosa Zekeli, 1852 non de Roissy, 1805.
