The distribution of Rangia cuneata (Sowerby, 1831) in the Netherlands is given. This exotic species was discovered for the first time in Europe (2005) in Belgium (Verween et. al. , 2006). In the Netherlands this species is nowadays common in the brackish water of the Noordzeekanaal (province of North-Holland) and the Kanaal Terneuzen - Gent (province of Zeeland).
