Abstract
The paleobiogeographical analysis of the malacofaunas of the tufas of Arrest, Vernon, St-Pierre-lès-Eibeulf (France), Hitchin and of lcklingham (England) has allowed to characterize an interglacial biome of a temperate deciduous forest developped under a warm oceanic climate in Normandy, Picardy and West Suffolk. The causal analysis sets the problem of the real stratigraphical position of the tufa of St -Pierre-lès-Elbeuf.
