Abstract
    Lobus lineatus Naskar, Banerjee et Parui, sp. n. is described and illustrated from Darjeeling district of West Bengal, India. New species is similar to L. bandipurensis Joseph et Parui, 1993 but differs from latter in bifurcated epandrium. A key to eight Indian species of the genus Lobus Martin, 1972 is provided also.
