Abstract
    Pternopetalum latipinnulatum (Shan) J.B. Tan & X.J. He, previously known as an endemic species of China is now reported for the first time from Arunachal Pradesh. Detailed information about its description along with photographic illustration and a species key to related species of Pternopetalum Franch. in India are provided.
