Abstract
The general morphology, including the characters of diagnostic interest, a brief history of the group, the actualized taxonomy and the dicothomic keys and figures for the classification of the 3 genera and 4 species of stigiomysids, as well as the 8 tribes, 12 genera and 30 species of Cuban mysids are given. The lofogastrids are represented only by the genus Lophogaster. The best represented genera in the Cuban waters are Heteromysis Smith, 1873, with 8 species and Mysidium Dana, 1852, with 4.
