Abstract
    This volume presents the essential ingredients of the Blue Economy and discusses its various components. The role of sustainable development of fisheries, renewable ocean energy, marine leisure industry, maritime infrastructure and deep seabed mining in promoting the Blue Economy are presented. The book deliberates on the mechanisms of the implementation of the Blue Economy from global, regional and country-specific perspectives. It also examines various enablers of the Blue Economy such as maritime security, maritime administration, financing and the role of entrepreneurship in the development of the Blue Economy.
