Abstract
    De eerste Schelpenteldag vindt plaats op 17 maart. Het is een initatief van het Vlaams Instituut voor de Zee (VLIZ), Natuurpunt, Kusterfgoed en Eos. Aangespoelde schelpen vertellen veel over klimaatverandering en milieuvervuiling. Twee amateurbiologen [Hans De Blauwe en Misjel Decleer] wijzen op de bedreigingen voor het mariene schelpenbestand.
