Abstract
    The present paper reports the morphological description of Eria tomentosa (J. König) Hook. f. 1890. This is a very rare species from India and mainly distributed in the hot and warm areas of Assam which is located in Indo-Burma hot spot regions. The data provided is complemented by representative illustration materials from the active collection under National Active Germplasm Site (≠757) at Nation-al Research Centre for Orchids.
