Abstract
Two albinos specimens, one male and one female, of the electric marbled ray Torpedo marmorata Risso, 1810 were captured in the Slovenian marine waters, off Piran (northern Adriatic). Both specimens were juvenile, completely unpigmented on both body surfaces, with red eyes, constituting a case of total albinism. These are the first records on albinism observed to date in T. marmorata.
