Abstract
    The present paper deals with 28 species of Family Scrupocellariidae Levinsen 1909 ( Cheilostomata: Anasca: Cellularina) collected from the Chinese seas. Of the species of Scrupocellariidae, 5 are new, 11 are recorded for the first time from China. The holotypes are all preserved in the Institute of Oceanology, Academia Sinica (Tsingtao). The following is a list of the species in this paper (* recorded for the first time from China).
