Abstract
    1. Keys to the littoral pycnogonids of the British Isles are presented.2. Brief notes concerning distribution, possible food sources and the validity of each species are included. The Nymphonidae are considered in relation to the species which occur in other parts of the Atlantic and evidence presented to demonstrate the validity of the three species Nymphon gracile, N. rubrum and N. brevirostre.
