Abstract
    A Sclerodoris species, most probably Sclerodoris apiculata from the Indo-Pacific including the Red Sea, is reported from a submerged sandstone rock at a depth of 12 m in the Mediterranean Sea off Ashqelon, Israel. The specimen had been observed at that spot already 29 years ago by a local diver Gil Gat.
