Abstract
    First record of a stomatellid species in the Mediterranean Sea (Gastropoda: Prosobranchia).The first record of a species of Stomatella from the Mediterranean Sea coast of Turkey is reported. A specimen of Stomatella varia (A. Adams, 1850) was collected coincidentally with Patella materials in Göynük, north of Kerner.
