Abstract
    Shell growth, dry-meat wt, and mortality of the American oyster (Crassostrea virginica), the blue mussel (Mytilus edulis) and the bay scallop (Aequipecten irradiens) cultured for 3 months on algae grown in artificial medium and in secondary-treated sewage effluent exhibited no significant differences.
