Abstract
Two species of galatheid crustaceans are reported for the first time from off Florida. Munida spinifrons was known previously only from Challenger sta 113A in Brazilian waters. Extensive description of the holotype of that species is provided, and its affinities to M. pusilla are discussed. Munidopsis kucki, new species, is closely related to M. sharreri. Their relationships are discussed based upon an examination of the holotype of M. sharreri.
