Abstract
Serial dilution culture surveys of the Oslofjord (1964-1965) showed that ultra - and nannoplankton flagellates include spp from most algal classes, Hapto-, Chryso-, and Prasinophyceae being the most prominent. The sp Micromonas pusilla dominated by number, but played a minor role in biomass. Olisthodicues lutens showed the largest biomass recorded, due to a heavy bloom in Sept 1964.
